Privacy policy

Home Owners Control Center (Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh) operates this site and produces the Homeowner Control System. Orders are sold and processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.

What we collect. When you buy, Paddle collects your email, payment details and billing information in order to process the payment and charge any applicable tax. We receive your email address and a record of the purchase, and use them to send you your download link. We never see or store your card number. If you request the free sample, we use the email address you provide to deliver it. We add it to a marketing list only if you separately opt in to tips and product updates. If you use the private Companion, we store the home records and documents you choose to add.

Why and our lawful bases. We process order, account, home and support data to perform our contract with you. We keep security, fraud-prevention and service logs for our legitimate interests in protecting the service and resolving faults. We keep records required for tax, accounting and legal compliance. Optional analytics, advertising measurement and marketing email use consent where consent is required.

Optional analytics. If you allow analytics, we collect page views, sections viewed, button presses, feature use, approximate device information and campaign attribution so we can improve the product. On the public sales page this can include a reconstruction of clicks and scrolling. Form inputs are masked. We do not record checkout, receipt, sign-in or private Home Membership screens.

Optional advertising measurement. If you allow marketing measurement, tags on the public sales page tell our social advertising partners when an advert leads to a page view, sample request, checkout or purchase. Matching may use campaign identifiers, browser information and a one-way encoded version of the email supplied for that transaction. These tags do not run on private or receipt pages.

Your privacy choice. Optional analytics and advertising storage stay off until you choose them. Use “Privacy choices” in the site footer to refuse or withdraw either choice as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Emailsupport@homeownercontrolcenter.com to request deletion of analytics data linked to you.

Sharing. Paddle (payments and tax), our analytics and advertising measurement providers when you consent, our email provider, database and file-storage provider, and hosting provider. We do not sell your information.

International processing. We operate from Bangladesh and use providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Where UK transfer rules apply, we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation or contractual safeguards and related transfer assessments. How long we keep it. Home records and documents remain until you delete them or ask us to close the account. Support and security records remain only as long as needed to resolve the issue and protect the service. Purchase and payment records remain as long as tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute rules require. Optional analytics follows the retention configured with the relevant provider and is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for the stated purpose.

Your rights. Depending on where you live and our reason for processing, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email support@homeownercontrolcenter.com; we may need to verify your identity. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

UK complaints. Contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern. People in the UK may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
